Dan Miller

Dan Miller (b.1980, Brighton, England) lives & works in Glasgow. Miller graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2002. Miller’s practice moves fluidly across a wide range of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, video and sculpture. He creates works that investigate the territories of scale, ratio and repetition. Historical fascination and rigorous process underpin an investigation into the underlying properties of materiality.

Works are manipulated through strict method and empirical process, recording, copying and inverting visual information. They are often cross-referenced and rewritten, continually oscillating between digital and analogue platforms.
